Kogilu Cross Project
The site, Kogilu Cross, Bengaluru is one of the areas where a metro station is under construction and is expected to be up and running by 2025.
It has facilities like washrooms, Child care room, waiting space. drinking water and garbage disposal system.
Process
Starting with observing the people using the space nearby, landmarking their pause points and mapping their routes allowed me to come with some of the facilities and design the people would appreciate and engage themselves with. I made up forms for people to choose what kind of amenities- such as drinking water availability, public washrooms, shading area, garbage bins, etc, would be most needed in a 400m radius.
The final outcome has been produced by a response from and for the users of the space.
